In mixing bowl, stir together warm water, butter, sugar, and yeast. Let sit five minutes or until mixture is foamy.
Stir in salt and herbs. Add flour one cup at a time. Mix until dough forms into a ball. If it's very sticky, sprinkle in more flour.
Dump out onto floured surface and knead dough until it's smooth.
Spray bread pan with cooking spray. Spread dough in pan and cover with waxed paper. Let rise until doubled. Punch down dough, cover, and let rise again until doubled.
Preheat oven to 350°. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes or until golden brown.
