Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F (175°C).
Grease the bottom only of an 8" square pan.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter, stirring every 20 seconds or so.
Mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until blended. Beat in cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder.
Pour into greased pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25 - 30 minutes until center is set on top and a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out slightly gooey. Do not overcook.
